Yankees, Dodgers, More MLB Teams Eye Start of Baseball Season After NFL Super Bowl 60

The NFL season is over after the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX.

The sports calendar will soon turn to the Major League Baseball season, with pitchers and catchers for all 30 teams first reporting between Tuesday and Thursday.

With baseball on the horizon, MLB teams posted on social media with great enthusiasm about the 2026 campaign.

The Seahawks are in the baseball spirit based on their postgame celebrations.

The spring training schedule begins on Friday, Feb. 20. The first regular season game of the 2026 season is on Wednesday, March 25, when the New York Yankees visit the San Francisco Giants.

Twenty-two of the other 28 MLB teams get going the following day, including the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers, who host the Arizona Diamondbacks.
