Drake Maye, Patriots Make NFL History With Super Bowl 60 Loss to Sam Darnold, Seahawks
No team in NFL history has won more Lombardi Trophies than the New England Patriots' six.
But no team has lost more Super Bowls than the Patriots either.
ESPN's Adam Schefter noted the Patriots have now lost an NFL-record six Super Bowls thanks to Sunday's 29-13 defeat at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks:

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
It is a testament to New England's consistency and greatness that it has been in 12 different Super Bowls over the course of its history. And 10 of those Super Bowl appearances have come since the turn of the century starting in the 2001 campaign when a young Tom Brady led the team to the sport's biggest stage.
The Brady and Bill Belichick combination won six of their nine Super Bowl appearances, but the Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel combination is off to an 0-1 start.
And they can thank the Seattle defense for the record-setting loss.
The Seahawks overwhelmed Maye with six sacks, one lost fumble and two interceptions, the second of which was returned for a touchdown by Uchenna Nwosu. New England didn't score a single point until the fourth quarter after it was behind by three scores in what turned out to be meaningless touchdowns in garbage time.
Fortunately for the Patriots, there is reason for optimism.
This was just Maye's second season in the NFL, while it was Vrabel's first year as the head coach of the organization that he won three Super Bowls with as a player. The quarterback and coach pairing is just getting started, and such an early Super Bowl appearance likely puts it ahead of schedule.
But Sunday was a painful day for the Patriots as they fell on this stage for a record sixth time.
