Caleb Williams Reposts Photo from Bears' Win Over Bengals After Ja'Marr Chase Gets QB's Name Wrong
Ja'Marr Chase may not remember Caleb Williams' name.
But he surely remembers the Chicago Bears' dramatic 47-42 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9.
After Chase forgot Williams' name during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the Bears quarterback reposted a photograph of Chase's reaction to Chicago's win from earlier this season:

It was one of seven games the Bears won during the 2025 campaign thanks to winning drives in the fourth quarter or overtime from Williams. And it was among the most dramatic, as it also featured a Bengals' comeback before the NFC North team ended up on top.
Chicago controlled much of the second half and built a 41-27 lead with fewer than two minutes remaining. However, the Bengals responded with a touchdown and two-point conversion, a recovered onside kick and another touchdown to take a 42-41 lead in the final minute.
But all that did was set the stage for Williams, and he delivered a 58-yard strike to Colston Loveland for the game-winning touchdown.
Cincinnati's defense was abysmal in that game, which prompted the frustrated response from Chase. Considering the Bengals finished 31st in the league in yards allowed and 30th in points allowed during the 2025 campaign, it surely wasn't the only time Chase and the offense grew frustrated with the defense.
It marked the third consecutive season Cincinnati finished 25th or worse in yards allowed, and Williams had less trouble exploiting the struggling defense than Chase had in remembering his name.
