Drake Maye Gives Shoulder Injury Update Ahead of Patriots vs. Seahawks in NFL Super Bowl 60

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye provided a positive update on his shoulder injury ahead of Super Bowl LX on Sunday.

"I'm not trying to lie to you guys and say I'm feeling great. I'm feeling great," he told reporters Thursday.

While he's listed on their injury report, the Patriots said Maye was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

The MVP contender had previously indicated the shoulder issue was nothing to worry about.

"I feel good. I'll be just fine," he said Monday during the Super Bowl's Opening Night event. "I threw a good bit. I threw as much as I would at a normal practice. I felt great and looking forward to getting back out there Wednesday and Thursday for practice and Friday to get ready for a normal week of prep."

Fans can expect to see Maye under center against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night. Backup Joshua Dobbs won't be thrust into the spotlight for the biggest game of the year.

Whether Maye is 100 percent is another matter, and it's something that won't become apparent until the Super Bowl kicks off.

The Patriots are widely considered to be the underdogs against Seattle. Their odds of winning a seventh title will be even longer if their quarterback is limited with his throwing ability.
