US Olympic Hockey Team 2026 Full Roster, Game Schedule and Jerseys
The United States men's and women's hockey teams are expected to go deep into the 2026 Winter Olympics tournaments.
A place in the gold-medal game in the expectation for both squads, who likely will have to contend with Canada for the top Olympic prize.
Most members of the women's team have been through the Olympic tournament before, but a gold medal has eluded most of the group. Canada won five of the last six women's hockey golds.
The re-introduction of NHL players to the men's tournament brings more competition across the board. The Americans and Canadians have the most top-tier talent and are expected to meet at some point in the knockout round.
The American men are searching for their first hockey gold medal since the 1980 "Miracle On Ice" team.
The Olympic hockey rosters can be found here and the Olympic jerseys for both teams can be found here.
Men's Hockey
1 of 2
Schedule
Thursday, February 12: vs. Latvia (3:10 p.m. ET)
Saturday, February 14: vs. Denmark (3:10 p.m. ET)
Sunday, February 15: vs. Germany (3:10 p.m. ET)
Team USA is expected to cruise through group play against Latvia, Denmark and Germany.
The Americans own an overwhelming talent edge over all three nations. Germany might pose a threat because of Leon Draisaitl, but the overall German roster is not as good as the USA squad.
A group win would mean the Americans advance straight to the quarterfinals. They have to win three knockout-round games to capture the gold medal.
Auston Matthews, Brady and Matthew Tkachuk and Jack and Quinn Hughes are the headline names on the Olympic roster.
Matthews is one of seven American players with 25+ goals in the NHL this season. Matt Boldy is the leader of the American Olympic contingent with 32 goals. Look for Kyle Connor, Dylan Larkin and Jake Guentzel to be scoring threats in support of the stars as well.

Schedule
Thursday, February 5: vs. Czechia (10:40 a.m. ET)
Saturday, February 7: vs. Finland (10:40 a.m. ET)

Tuesday, February 10: vs. Canada (2:10 p.m. ET)
Team USA has one goal in women's hockey and that is to win gold.
The Americans won gold in 2018, but gave first place back to Canada in 2022.
Hilary Knight and Team USA are the top-ranked team in the women's rankings. They have three games in the group stage to prepare for their clash with Canada in Group A.
The February 10 showdown between the North American rivals is expected to be the first of two meetings in Milan.
A knockout-round berth is a given with wins over Czechia, Finland and Switzerland in Group A. The Americans have to win three games in the knockout round to earn gold.
The United States won two of the last three World Championships, with both of the title game wins coming over Canada.
There is hope that the World Championships results translate to Olympic gold for the third time in the program's history.
