Rob Gronkowski Jokes Tom Brady Will Be '4th-Ballot Hall of Famer' After Bill Belichick, Kraft Snubs
After New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and legendary coach Bill Belichick were snubbed from the 2026 Hall of Fame class, Tom Brady might have to wait his turn.
Rob Gronkowski, Brady's longtime tight end target in New England, joked that Brady will be a "fourth-ballot Hall of Famer" following Kraft and Belichick's snubs.
"Tom Brady's gonna be a fourth-ballot Hall of Famer now," he said on the Up & Adams show. "Like, [Kraft] can't get in, Bill Belichick can't get in, where's Tom gonna sit? I mean, obviously, Tom's gotta be a first-ballot, but who knows what's gonna happen now."

Gronkowski also said that Kraft should already be in the Hall of Fame.
There have been a handful of theories regarding why Belichick wasn't a first-ballot Hall of Famer, with one being that voters felt he should wait for his involvement in the Spygate and Deflategate scandals.
Whether Brady will get the same treatment in 2028 remains to be seen, but it's hard to imagine he won't get into the Hall in his first go around.
