James Brockermeyer 2026 NFL Draft Scouting Report for Atlanta Falcons IOL

Brandon ThornFeb 13, 2026

The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly signing Miami IOL James Brockermeyer as an undrafted rookie free agent, per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports.

James Brockermeyer is an undersized center prospect who wins with positional leverage, effort and an over-reliance on establishing first meaningful contact to circumvent his lack of sand. Without a true standout physical trait, he projects as a backup center in a zone-based run scheme in the NFL.

Brockermeyer is a 6'3", 295-pound center prospect who originally committed to Alabama with his twin brother as a 4-star recruit in the 2021 class. He appeared in 16 games over three years in Tuscaloosa before transferring to TCU with his brother for the 2024 season, making 12 starts at center. He then transferred again in 2025 to Miami, where he started 16 games, including the national championship against Indiana.

Brockermeyer started 28 games at center during his college career. He is the son of former NFL LT and 1995 first-round pick Blake Brockermeyer.
