Super Bowl 2026 Seahawks vs. Patriots Box Score and Stats Predictions
A long NFL season will come to an end on Sunday and one team will be crowned Super Bowl champions, football's highest honor.
This year's matchup should be an exciting one.
The New England Patriots are hoping to begin a new dynasty after Tom Brady and Bill Belichick led them to six rings over the last two-plus decades. They have a star quarterback in the making in Drake Maye, and he'll look to cap off a phenomenal Year 2 with a Super Bowl victory.
The Seattle Seahawks are playing in the Super Bowl for the first time since 2014, and they'll look for their first victory since 2013. Bringing in one of the best offenses and arguably the best defense in the NFL, Seattle has all the makings of a championship team.
Given the Seahawks' dominance this year, they're the favorite heading into the game. Here's a look at more odds and some other need-to-know details ahead of Sunday's game.

Prediction: Drake Maye Has 2 or More Turnovers

Drake Maye has had an MVP-caliber second season in the NFL, but at the end of the day, he's still a young quarterback playing in the biggest game of his life.
Any young quarterback is bound to make mistakes in a high-pressure moment, especially when facing one of the best defenses in the NFL. The Seahawks had the fifth-most interceptions (18) during the regular season, and they've had four total takeaways during the postseason.
Maye hasn't turned the ball over at an especially high rate this year, but he had interceptions in the wild-card and divisional rounds and has fumbled six times throughout the playoffs.
The Seahawks' defensive line is going to put pressure on Maye all night, and it will almost certainly lead to some mistakes. Whether the Patriots will be able to overcome those mistakes is the question.
Prediction: Sam Darnold Has 3 or More TDs

The Patriots' defense has been dominant on the way to the Super Bowl, but they have yet to face a quarterback like Sam Darnold.
Darnold had one of his best games of the season in the NFC Championship, posting 346 yards and three touchdowns in a win over the Los Angeles Rams. Darnold is only playing in the second postseason of his career, but that game showed that he's more than capable of rising to the moment.
The Patriots had respectable defensive performances against the Chargers, Texans and Broncos, but all three of those squads ranked outside of the top 12 in scoring this year.
Expect Darnold to find the endzone a handful of times as he looks to win a Super Bowl and continue his tremendous rise to stardom.
