Shedeur Sanders Says He Proved 'I'm Able to Dominate' NFL After Rookie Season with Browns

Andrew PetersFeb 3, 2026

Shedeur Sanders still has very few NFL games under his belt, but he's already started to build the confidence needed to succeed in the league.

He said on the Up & Adams show that he's proved to himself what he's capable of.

"I proved to myself I'm able to dominate in this league," Sanders said. "But, I'm able to take completions, I'm able to put all that together. In games, we have flashes, but I know I'm capable of doing that. To do it on a consistent basis, that's what the goal is."

Sanders had a rough start to his NFL career, sliding to the fifth round of the NFL draft and riding the bench until November, when he made his debut after Dillon Gabriel suffered a concussion.

As Sanders said, he had some flashes. In a matchup against the Tennessee Titans, he threw for 364 yards and three touchdowns while adding another score on the ground.

He finished the year with 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
