Shedeur Sanders Talks 'Connection' With New Browns HC Todd Monken After Viral Video

Shedeur Sanders is a fan of his new head coach.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback told reporters that he and Todd Monken have "a connection" and he thinks the coach "has a great vibe about him."

The quarterback and Monken appeared to have a good rapport in a recent video posted by the Browns. In the video, Monken, the former offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens, said he "tried to draft your ass last year."

Monken has seemingly been a fan of Sanders for a while now. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported in September that the Ravens planned to select Sanders in the fifth round, but Sanders "let it be known to Baltimore that he didn't want to be on a roster with Lamar Jackson, where he wouldn't have a chance to play anytime soon."

Monken confirmed that report in the video of him meeting Sanders.

Ultimately, Monken wound up as Sanders' coach, and the two will look to turn things around in Cleveland after years of struggles.
