Shedeur Sanders Reveals Reaction to NFL Pro Bowl Selection, Talks 'Surreal' Experience in New Video
Shedeur Sanders acknowledged that he was "surprised" to be named a Pro Bowler and said he certainly wasn't expecting the call.
"I'm not going to lie, a lot of times I'm taking it day by day," he told reporters Monday. "Taking it day by day, having that method. Whatever comes out of that, comes out of that. But if you told me that this was going to happen at the beginning of the year, I couldn't say that was going to happen."

He added that being a Pro Bowler was "amazing" and that he was thankful for the opportunity to be surrounded by great coaches and players, calling it a "surreal" experience.
Sanders' Pro Bowl invitation was a surprise to basically everybody, given that he threw for seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions during his rookie year.
But with Drake Maye unavailable due to playing in the Super Bowl, Josh Allen and Justin Herbert seemingly pulling out for injury concerns and the likelihood that quarterbacks such as Lamar Jackson, Trevor Lawrence, Aaron Rodgers and C.J. Stroud turned down invitations, the AFC roster wasn't left with many options.
Hence, Sanders and Joe Flacco being named to the roster.
The AFC will also feature Joe Burrow at quarterback, lending some credibility to the position group.
