Caitlin Clark Hypes Lakers' Luka Doncic, Beats Jamal Crawford in Shooting Competition on Video

Caitlin Clark is gearing up for her third season in the WNBA, and the Indiana Fever star is hoping to model some of her game after an NBA star.

During NBC's pregame show ahead of Sunday's matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks, Clark said she "can learn from" Luka Dončić.

"Luka's amazing. He's incredible," Clark said. "I think the way he can not only score the ball but also the way he passes. And I think the thing about him, he's not always the fastest, he's not the most athletic, but he can make a defender move to where he wants him to go and he takes up that space and he does a really good job of keeping the defender behind him or keeping him to the side. I think that's something I can certainly learn from."

Clark also weighed in on what NBA legend Michael Jordan had to say about road crowds.

"I feel fortunate, a lot of the arenas we go into, a lot of people are cheering for our team," Clark said. "There are some road games, even the Liberty fans, San Francisco, the Valkyries have a good crowd. You want to take them out of it right away, you want to make them call the first time out... I like what he said, if you're a star, these are the games you show up for."

In her NBC debut, Clark had the chance to play a game of HORSE with NBA icon Jamal Crawford.

Clark has played in some historic venues throughout her career, but she's still looking to take to the court in one of basketball's most iconic venues: Madison Square Garden.

"I don't think the Liberty will want to move a game over here, but we'll play anybody," Clark said.

The New York Liberty play across the river at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, so there currently isn't a WNBA team that calls MSG home, but with the way Clark draws a crowd, it wouldn't be surprising to see her play in Madison Square Garden at some point in her career.
