Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Drake Maye's appearance was particularly notable because the second-year quarterback is listed as questionable for the Super Bowl for now. He has been battling a shoulder issue along with an undisclosed illness.
The MVP contender looked to be in good spirits Sunday:
"First off, man, I just want to thank you guys. You guys have been great all season," Maye said in his speech to the crowd. "Man, wouldn't be here without you guys. What a journey, and we still got work left to do. Shout out to these guys, love you guys. Celebrate when we get back. Go Pats, baby!"
The Patriots now have a week to get acclimatized to what should be more favorable conditions in Santa Clara. They're tentatively scheduled to arrive in San Jose at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday evening.
Super Bowl week will kick into gear Monday with the annual Opening Night event.
