WWE 2K26 Gameplay Trailer Drops with CM Punk, Inferno Match, New Features and Joe Hendry Pre-Order

As the rollout continues for the upcoming release of WWE 2K26, the highly anticipated gameplay trailer dropped on Saturday after the Royal Rumble premium live event.

The trailer gave fans a first look at in-game footage featuring the likes of CM Punk, IYO SKY, Stephanie Vaquer and more. It also showcased some of the new match types, including Inferno and Dumpster Matches.

WWE 2K26 will be released on March 13 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. There will be three premium editions available a week early on March 6: the King of Kings Edition, the Attitude Era Edition and the Monday Night War Edition. Fans who pre-order the game will get a bonus Joe Hendry Pack, featuring a shirt, a MyFaction Evo Card and a MySuperstar Island Emote.

Liv Morgan, the 2026 Women's Royal Rumble winner, recently spoke to Bleacher Report about what fans can expect from WWE 2K26.

"Every year the game truly upgrades, and I feel like 2K tries to give the fans a really fun, immersive gameplay experience, taking feedback from previous years, and this year's no different," she said. "We just have a really fun, exciting game with some new features, and really excited for everyone to play and enjoy."

The first gameplay trailer will only build even more excitement for the release of WWE 2K26 next month.
