Jarrell Miller lost his toupee but won his fight against Kingsley Ibeh ahead of Saturday's Shakur Stevenson versus Teofimo Lopez fight at Madison Square Garden.

Miller, whose hairpiece was knocked loose on a hit by Ibeh, ended the third round of Saturday's fight by throwing his toupee into the crowd.

He ultimately won in a split decision that was scored 94-96, 97-93 and 97-93.

The toupee seemingly went on a journey once it went into the crowd. WBO heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley posted a video of the hairpiece on the chair next to him while the fight was still ongoing.

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman also shared a photo of himself holding the hairpiece.

WBC interim female super-bantamweight title holder Skye Nicolson was then photographed wearing the toupee.

Miller said after the split decision win that his hairlessness had been caused by a recent mix-up between shampoo and "ammonia bleach."

"I get to my mama's house, and I saw some shampoo bottles on the table," Miller said. "I shampooed, and that s--t was like ammonia bleach. I literally lost my hair like two days ago.

"I called my manager and said get me one of those manes, and I slapped that s--t on real quick. Ibeh knocked that s--t off. But like I've said before, it's funny, man. I'm a comedian."

The fight marked Miller's first bout since a 12-round majority draw decision against Andy Ruiz in August 2024.

Miller improved to 27-1-2 (22 KO) with the win, while Ibeh's record dropped to 16-3-1 (14 KO).

Ziyad Al Maayouf versus Kevin Castillo and Austin Williams versus Wendy Toussaint got the undercard started Saturday night before Miller and Ibeh faced off.

After Miller's split decision win, Bruce Carrington versus Carlos Castro and Keyshawn Davis versus Jamaine Ortiz were set to take place before Lopez and Shakur Stevenson were scheduled to begin the main event at 10:50 p.m. ET.
