Buffalo Bills superstar Josh Allen didn't have final say on the team's decision to hire Joe Brady as the new head coach this offseason, but per multiple reports he was an important part of the process.
ESPN's Peter Schrager, for instance, noted that Allen sat in on a number of interviews:

The Athletic's Dianna Russini also noted on The Scoop City podcast (11:55 mark) that Allen sat in on meetings but didn't carry a "heavy weight" in the final decision.
"They asked him for sure," she added. "But it wasn't like he was banging on the table and then they made this move because that's who Allen wanted. Apparently Brady blew away the room. It was everybody. So it wasn't a very hard decision for them to make."
Allen's familiarity with Brady should make the transition easier than the normal, however. The two have worked together for the past three seasons, with Brady as offensive coordinator, and Allen put together an MVP season in 2024.
Now the goal is to finally get over the Super Bowl hump. Anything less from Brady and Allen will be deemed a major disappointment.
