Bo Nix Says He Felt 'Helpless' Watching Broncos vs. Patriots AFC Title Game After Injury
Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix suffered a fractured right ankle during his team's AFC Divisional Round win against the Buffalo Bills, and that forced him to the sidelines the following week, when his team fell 10-7 to the New England Patriots with a Super Bowl trip on the line.
Understandably, Nix told reporters during a Wednesday chat that he felt "helpless" watching his team play that afternoon.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Denver backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham started last Sunday in a very tough spot. He had some positive moments, like when he led the Broncos on a 59-yard touchdown drive capped by a six-yard toss to Courtland Sutton.
However, Stidham also threw a late interception and committed a costly fumble in the second quarter that led to the Patriots getting the ball on the Denver 12-yard line. Patriots quarterback Drake Maye scored a rushing touchdown two plays later.
Both offenses struggled, though, to the point where they combined for just 387 yards from scrimmage. The snowy and windy conditions in the second half certainly didn't help matters, and the Patriots scored the only points off a 23-yard field goal from Andres Borregales in the third quarter.
The Broncos' exciting season ended in disappointing fashion, but it was a great year for Denver, which went 14-3, earned the AFC's No. 1 seed and won its first playoff game since 2015.
Nix and the Broncos now begin the process of getting ready for 2026. Thankfully, Nix's surgery went well, per Broncos owner and CEO Greg Penner.
Nix echoed those sentiments and gave a promising return timeline as well.
In his second NFL season, Nix finished with 3,931 passing yards and 25 touchdowns while adding 356 rushing yards and five scores. He added 279 passing yards, 29 rushing yards and three passing scores in the Broncos' 33-30 overtime win over Buffalo.
