Patriots' Stefon Diggs Calls Out Critics After Making Super Bowl, 'They Were Calling Me Washed'

Stefon Diggs tore his ACL halfway through the 2024 season, and there were questions about whether the 32-year-old would return in top form this season after signing with the New England Patriots.

That made Sunday's win over the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game all the more meaningful, as he told Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network:

The four-time Pro Bowler caught 85 passes for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns this season, providing young quarterback Drake Maye with a primary option in the passing game. He added 11 catches for 73 yards and a touchdown in the playoffs and is now heading to the first Super Bowl of his career.

The Seattle Seahawks await and will easily be the toughest test the Patriots have faced all season. But Diggs and the Patriots have exceeded all expectations to this point.
