Matthew Stafford's Wife Kelly Shares Video QB Hugging Daughters Goodnight After Rams' Loss
Even after the Los Angeles Rams' 31-27 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Sunday's NFC Championship Game, Matthew and Kelly Stafford provided a reminder that there is far more to life than just football.
Kelly Stafford shared a video of her husband hugging and wishing their daughters good night after 2 a.m. when he arrived home from the game.
"After leaving everything out on that field and coming up short, at 2:30 am, this was Matthew," she wrote.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Edward Lewis of the New York Post noted Kelly Stafford also shared an image of the box of doughnuts they bought their children on Monday morning as a way of saying thank you for all the support this season.
"Thank you for being such rockstars for me all season long!" the couple wrote on the box. "Y'all were the inspiration for daddy's incredible year! We [love] you!!"
An incredible season it was, as Stafford may be in line to take home his first career MVP after completing 65 percent of his passes for 4,707 yards, 46 touchdowns and eight interceptions. The yardage and touchdown totals were both career-high marks even in his age-37 season.
While the Rams fell short Sunday, Stafford was excellent while going 22-of-35 for 374 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. He even ran for 16 yards while using his legs to escape pressure from Seattle's defensive front.
Yet the Los Angeles defense couldn't make enough stops for his performance to hold up, as the Seahawks had an answer for seemingly every one of Stafford's big plays.
Now attention turns to whether he will return for the 2026 season or hang up the cleats and enjoy retirement. But even if he does return, the video Kelly Stafford shared suggests there will be plenty of family time either way.
