Watch Shaun White Jump Over Shane Gillis Snowboarding in Central Park in Viral Videos amid Snowstorm
Shaun White was clearly enjoying this weekend's snowstorm, as the Olympic gold medalist brought his snowboard to New York City's Central Park and pulled off a few tricks for onlookers, including a jump over Shane Gillis.
White, 39, retired from competitive snowboarding following the 2022 Olympics, though he now runs the Snow League halfpipe tour.
While White will be at the upcoming Milano Cortina Games, he'll be doing so as a spectator.
"I feel like I'll be there in a special way," he told the Associated Press earlier in January. "And I'm hoping that the feeling is a great one and a positive one and something I'll want to return to and do again and again over the years."
He even said his "big goal" is to get hip-hop legend and NBC Olympics' commentator Snoop Dogg out on the slopes. If he could get Gillis to sit under a ramp in Central Park, he can probably convince Snoop to shred some powder.
