Dez Bryant Shares Text Promising DeMarcus Lawrence a Rolex If Seahawks Reached NFL Super Bowl 60
Dez Bryant owes his former teammate, Seattle Seahawks edge-rusher DeMarcus Lawrence, a watch.
And not a cheap one, either. The former NFL wide receiver didn't seem to believe Sam Darnold could lead the Seahawks to the Super Bowl, telling Lawrence before the 2025 season that he would buy him a Rolex if Seattle ended up in the big game:

Of course, Lawrence made headlines with his comments after leaving the Dallas Cowboys last offseason:
In Bryant's defense, few people were expecting the Seahawks to go 14-3, win the NFC West and book a trip to the Super Bowl. Darnold's offseason signing was considered questionable by many, even after his resurgent season for the Minnesota Vikings in 2024.
Perhaps the memory of the Los Angeles Rams sacking him nine times and intercepting him during last year's Wild Card round remained too centered in the collective consciousness. But Darnold proved the haters wrong, and Lawrence can thank him for the new Rolex in his collection.
