Scottie Scheffler Joins Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus with Historic Stat After PGA Tour Win
Scottie Scheffler just keeps accumulating milestones.
With Sunday's win at The American Express, he became just the third golfer in history to compile 20 PGA Tour wins and four major titles before his 30th birthday, joining Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus.

Woods had an absurd 46 wins by his 30th birthday, a mark Scheffler couldn't even match at this point. There may never be a golfer as unstoppable as Woods was in his prime, however.
But what Scheffler is doing is wildly impressive in its own right. Any accomplishment that puts your name in the same category as Woods and Nicklaus is special.
Scheffler left little doubt on Sunday, shooting a 6-under 66 to finish the tournament at 27 under, a cool four strokes above Jason Day, Ryan Gerard, Matt McCarty and Andrew Putnam.
He is on a torrid run at the moment. It's almost more surprising when he doesn't win a tournament at this point. There was a question for many years about who would be the next great superstar in the sport following Woods' legendary prime.
There aren't questions anymore.
