Cowboys Reportedly Block Rival Eagles from Klayton Adams Interview, Who Are Top OCs Available?
The Philadelphia Eagles are still looking for their next offensive coordinator and will need to continue their search after their rival reportedly turned their efforts away.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Sunday that the Dallas Cowboys blocked Philadelphia's request to interview OC Klayton Adams for the same position with the Eagles.
Here is a look at some potential top candidates for the Eagles after being denied their interview request:

That Dallas blocked the interview request is notable, especially since the Cowboys just hired Christian Parker as their new defensive coordinator after he was the Eagles' passing game coordinator and secondary coach the last two years.
However, there is a notable difference, as Philadelphia couldn't block that move since it was a promotion and not a lateral hire.
Dallas not wanting to lose Adams, especially to a rival, is not surprising. While the team missed the playoffs at 7-9-1, offense was not the problem.
After all, the team finished second in the league in yardage and seventh in scoring during Adams' first season as the OC. The former assistant for the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals directed an offense that featured impressive contributions from Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Javonte Williams and Javonte Williams.
Pickens posted a career-best 1,429 receiving yards as a first-time Pro Bowler and was a revelation for the Cowboys in Adams' offense.
Figuring out a way to effectively balance so many notable playmakers was surely enticing to the Eagles since they have no shortage of star power on paper with Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert.
Yet that group finished 19th in scoring and 24th in yardage this season on the way to an NFC Wild-Card Round exit. It cost offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo his job and has left the team in a position of uncertainty as it searches for its next OC.
And now it has to cross Adams off its list as well.
