Pedro seems to have come to the end of the road in his long-term career at Barcelona as the Spaniard is apparently set for a switch to Manchester United.
Rumours have been circulating for some time now that Pedro was nearing the exit door at the Camp Nou, but Spanish outlet Cadena (h/t the Telegraph) now seems to have confirmed it, reporting that the 28-year-old has informed his family he is on his way to United.
Family friend Jamie Lorenzo, also president of Spanish club Raqui San Isidro, said Pedro's mother had recently informed him of the imminent move to the Premier League, per Cadena (via the Telegraph): "The other day the mother of Pedro told us that he is leaving for England. I think it would be a good challenge for him and he would have more minutes."
Bleacher Report's Andy Brassell believes the World Cup winner could be a fine addition at the Red Devils, where he is likely to be more valued than at the Camp Nou:

Spanish outlet Sport are certainly confident Pedro will move to Old Trafford having recently mocked him up in a United shirt on their front page, via Purely Football:
Despite not being a regular starter, Pedro is a phenomenal backup and managed six goals and six assists last season in La Liga, per WhoScored.
He has been a Barcelona man for his entire senior career but clearly feels now is the time to move on, and United look set to be the beneficiaries of his huge talent.
Roma Enter Gerson Race
Having paid Fluminense €3.2million (£2.25 million), Barcelona have first rights to the signing of Brazilian youngster Gerson.
However, the 18-year-old midfielder is now being eyed by Serie A side Roma, who have tabled a €16 million (£11.2 million) offer for Gerson, which Barca must now match if they want to sign him, per Spanish outlet Sport.
Italian football writer Tancredi Palmeri provides further details of Roma's offer:
Despite Barca's current transfer ban, they can seal the deal now for Gerson and he can complete the move when the ban lifts in January.
But with Roma having now come into the picture, the Blaugrana hierarchy will have to decide whether they do indeed want to sign Gerson up.
It seems something of a no-brainer as Gerson has a huge amount of talent, as can be seen below:
He is fast, physical and creative and is only going to improve as he gains more experience at a high level.
Gerson would be a fantastic investment from Barca for the future, and they must not allow Roma to sneak in and snap him up.
