Dolphins' Jon-Eric Sullivan Details Plan for 2026 NFL Free Agency, QBs After Jeff Hafley Hire
The Miami Dolphins are entering a new era after the hirings of general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley, and they have big plans for free agency.
While speaking to reporters on Thursday, Sullivan revealed that the Dolphins will move with "responsible aggression" in player acquisition this offseason.
Sullivan and Hafley both came to Miami from the Green Bay Packers, with Sullivan serving as vice president of player personnel and Hafley as the team's defensive coordinator. The Packers have made some splashy moves over the past few offseasons, such as the signing of star running back Josh Jacobs and the acquisition of star edge rusher Micah Parsons. Fans in Miami would certainly be pleased if players like them make their way to South Beach.
The Dolphins finished the 2025 season with a 7-10 record and missed the playoffs for the second straight year. The team is facing some crucial decisions this offseason, most notably regarding the future of star receiver Tyreek Hill, who is on an expiring contract and recovering from a significant knee injury.
It sounds like Sullivan is ready to attack the offseason in a big way as he ushers in a new regime for the Dolphins with him and Hafley at the helm.
