'Heated Rivalry' Stars Connor Storrie, Hudson Williams Named Torchbearers for 2026 Winter Olympics

The Olympic Torch Relay for the 2026 Winter Games in Milan will feature a pair of familiar faces.

Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, stars of the new hit show Heated Rivalry, have been selected as official torchbearers for next month's Winter Olympics.

It was not yet announced when and where Williams and Storrie will be carrying the Olympic torch, but the relay will conclude on Feb. 6 ahead of the opening ceremony.

Heated Rivalry premiered on the Canadian streaming platform Crave in November before being picked up by HBO Max in select territories. The show is based on the Game Changers novel series by Rachel Reid and was described by Shafer as "a steamy romance following two hockey players from rival teams who can't ignore their feelings for each other."

Since the premiere of Heated Rivalry, the show has received critical acclaim while Storrie and Williams became rising stars with multiple late-night appearances and a spot as presenters at the Golden Globes. The show has already been renewed for a second season.
