Jake Paul Rumors Update Star's Professional Fighters League Contract Status
Jake Paul has teased plans for an MMA fight for quite some time, but it sounds like it won't be happening in the Professional Fighters League.
During Wednesday's episode of The Ariel Helwani Show, Helwani reported that Paul's partnership with the PFL appears to have dissolved.
"What I'm hearing is that whatever affiliation, business-wise or not, that Jake Paul and his team had with the PFL, I'm hearing that is no more," Helwani said. "That is something that kept being brought up, regarding would he fight, would he not, promotional, that was a big thing that they did a couple of years ago. I'm told that term has come to an end."

Paul signed a multiyear contract with the PFL in January 2023 as part of the promotion's introduction of the new "PPV super fights division." However, the YouTuber has focused solely on his boxing career, most recently suffering a knockout loss against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua last month.
The PFL has struggled to establish itself as MMA's No. 2 promotion behind the giant of the sport that is the UFC. The company is experiencing even more transition, as founder Donn Davis announced his departure on Wednesday.
Paul will be out of action for a while after suffering a broken jaw against Joshua, so it's not yet clear what his next move will be. However, it sounds like the PFL won't be benefiting from his presence anytime soon.
