Ravens Have a Wild New QB Room

Super Bowl 2026 AFC, NFC Conference Championship Bracket Predictions and Vegas Odds

Zach BuckleyJan 21, 2026

Two wild rounds of the NFL playoffs created a final four that...well, looks a lot like you'd expect, actually.

In the AFC, the top two seeds are the two left standing: the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots. In the NFC, you have the No. 1 seeded Seattle Seahawks and the fifth-seeded Los Angeles Rams, who spent a big chunk of this season looking like the league's best team.

It's a loaded field for sure, even with the Broncos appearing wobbly after losing starting quarterback Bo Nix to a broken ankle on Saturday. New England, Denver and Seattle tied for the campaign's lead with 14 wins apiece, and L.A. ranked second overall with a plus-172 scoring differential. Objectively speaking, it sure feels like the football gods got this right.

But how do the oddsmakers view this field? And does our crystal ball agree with their assessment? Read on to find all of the scheduling particulars, latest Super Bowl odds and predictions for the AFC and NFC Championships.

AFC Championship Prediction

3 of 4
Texans Patriots Football

The Broncos have home field advantage, a relentless, disruptive defense and a good amount of offensive playmakers (especially if running back J.K. Dobbins can return from the foot injury that has kept him sidelined since Nov. 6). But they don't have Nix, and that's kind of a massive deal.

Because the Patriots have their own disruptive defense, arguably more offensive playmaking punch and an unblemished road record. And their starting quarterback isn't hurt; instead, Drake Maye is perhaps putting the finishing touches on a storybook MVP season.

It feels strange to say this about a road team with a second-year quarterback in an AFC title game, but this is a contest the Patriots should win. Or should even control, maybe. Maye needs to pick up his play a bit (58.9 percent passing with four touchdowns against two interceptions this postseason), but his contributions this campaign suggest a signature moment just might be coming.

And while there are some questions about the degree of difficulty the Patriots have faced this season, they seemingly just caught another huge break with Nix going down, and Jarrett Stidham—who began his NFL career as a fourth-round pick by New England in 2019—taking his spot. Anything can (and sometimes does) happen in this league, but it seems relatively safe to pencil the Patriots into the Super Bowl.

Prediction: Patriots 23, Broncos 16

NFC Championship Prediction

Cardinals Rams Football

The Seahawks built a wildly successful winning formula around defensive dominance and a two-headed monster at running back this season. However, they'll go into this matchup down a head in the backfield, as Zach Charbonnet (who had 874 scrimmage yards and a team-high 12 touchdowns in the regular season) suffered a torn ACL, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Seattle still looms as an awfully difficult matchup, particularly in its raucous home venue. Kenneth Walker III will keep this ground game moving (116 rushing yards and three scores in the Divisional Round), Jaxon Smith-Njigba makes the short list of the league's most dynamic receivers and this defense is about as ferocious as it gets.

But if the Seahawks can't ground-and-pound their way to victory, could they wind up asking for too much from Sam Darnold? He put forth a Pro Bowl effort this season, but he also threw the third-most interceptions in the league (14) and is battling an oblique injury.

Is he ready to go toe-to-toe with MVP candidate Matthew Stafford and this prolific Rams' passing attack? That's honestly a question the Seahawks probably prefer not to answer. Then again, if it winds up being nip and tuck, L.A. won't want to rely on its shaky special teams unit.

There's a good chance this comes down to the wire, as the two regular-season bouts between these NFC West rivals were decided by a total of three points. Under this spotlight, though, it seems safer to trust Stafford and coach Sean McVay, who have already produced one championship run together.

Prediction: Rams 27, Seahawks 24
