George Kittle Discusses 49ers Owner Bringing Him Tequila After Achilles Injury vs. Eagles
George Kittle's season unfortunately ended early as the San Francisco 49ers star tight end suffered a torn Achilles in the wild-card round against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The early injury meant he had to watch the game from the locker room, but 49ers owner Jed York brought him some provisions, specifically, a bottle of tequila. Kittle pleaded the Fifth when asked about York bringing him tequila.

"Yep, it happened," Kittle said. "I had a great time."
Kittle also discussed how supported he felt by York, noting that he was one of the first people in the locker room after the injury.
"Getting his support was absolutely fantastic," Kittle said. "Just the fact that the team owner comes down to give his condolences to you, say he's there for you, it just really means what kind of place this is and the people that are in this building."
Kittle, a two-time All-Pro member and seven-time Pro Bowler, is likely going to miss much of the 2026 campaign, and his absence will certainly be felt by the Niners.
