Micah Parsons Jokes About Caleb Williams, Bears Joining Packers in Cancun After NFL Playoff Loss
The classic joke among sports fans when they want to troll a team that was just eliminated from the playoffs is to note that they are off to Cancun (which, by the way, originates from Nick Van Exel's infamous "One, two, three... Cancun" chant with the Los Angeles Lakers at the end of the 1997-98 season—and yes, he was traded shortly thereafter).
With the Chicago Bears losing on Sunday to the Los Angeles Rams, 20-17, Green Bay Packers edge-rusher Micah Parsons added a bit of spice to the heated rivalry, noting that the Bears can now join the Packers in Cancun:
Granted, the Packers were sent to Cancun by the Bears themselves in the Wild Card Round, albeit with Parsons sidelined as he recovers from a torn ACL. But one week later, it's the Bears who can begin making their vacation plans, joining 28 of the 32 teams in the NFL.
