Bears' Caleb Williams Discusses 'Miscommunication' With DJ Moore on OT Interception vs. Rams
Caleb Williams described his interception in overtime as a "miscommunication" between himself and wideout DJ Moore following Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss against the Los Angeles Rams.
"In the moment, you know, saw the front-side safety down," Williams told reporters. "Front-sided concept. You know, ended up getting hemmed up a little bit, so moved on and had DJ going over the top over all of it. Just miscommunication between him and I. Tried to flatten them off under the safety, and he kept it vertical from what I saw."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It couldn't have come at a worse time. The Bears tied the game late in the fourth quarter on Williams' unbelievable touchdown pass to Cole Kmet on a 4th-and-4 desperation heave that miraculously worked.
The Chicago defense then stopped the Rams on the first drive in overtime, meaning the Bears only needed a field goal to win the game. And the team was driving before Williams' interception.
Much discussion will center on that ill-fated play and where the blame lies. Either way, it is the Rams who are off to the NFC Championship Game against the Seattle Seahawks, not the Bears.
