'The Thiccer Kicker' Harrison Mevis Reflects on GW FG for Rams vs. Bears in 2026 NFL Playoffs

Harrison Mevis may be a rookie, but he had the poise of a veteran on Sunday.

Mevis, nicknamed "the Thiccer Kicker," drilled a game-winning field goal in overtime to give the Los Angeles Rams a win over the Chicago Bears. He reflected on that moment afterwards.

"Shoot, that's why we do it," Mevis said during his postgame interview. "...Preferably, this guy [Matthew Stafford] gets in the end zone, but if it has to come down to me, I'll be ready for my moment."

Mevis and the Rams will now get a matchup with the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.
