Patriots, Texans Drop Epic Hype Videos with Mark Wahlberg, Anime Features for NFL Playoff Game

On the eve of their clash in the AFC Divisional Round, the Houston Texans and New England Patriots both released hype videos for the matchup.

The Texans' video is anime-inspired, including being narrated by noted English-language anime voice actor Bryce Papenbrook.

New England's video is much more straightforward, with Mark Wahlberg back in his usual post as the hype man for Boston sports.

Wahlberg confidently declared the Patriots would make the playoffs after getting off to a 1-2 start this season. He was proven right, as first-year head coach Mike Vrabel and second-year quarterback Drake Maye led them to 12 wins in their final 13 regular-season games.

The Patriots face a difficult test against a relentless Houston defense that just held the Pittsburgh Steelers to six points and 175 total yards in the wild card round.

Houston and New England will kickoff from Gillette Stadium at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday.
