David Price's Journey to Toronto Blue Jays Is Strewn with Flat Tires and Popcorn

The Detroit Tigers sent David Price to the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday, trading the ace left-hander in exchange for a bevy of left-handed jetsam and works-in-progress.

Now Price faces the task of taking the Blue Jays on what the team hopes will be a really, really strong postseason run for the first time since 1993.

So, yeah. Price comes to Toronto with some weighty expectations about his neck, but first things first: He has to actually get to Toronto...in one piece...preferably with poop not in his pants.

The 29-year-old tweeted Friday morning that he experienced a flat tire while driving to Toronto. He pulled over to wait for roadside assistance, and that's when his GI tract went into an alligator death roll.

On the bright side, Price seems to be handling the trade well:

He is, however, much too humble to claim the meaty forearms of whoever's body the Blue Jays' social media team photoshopped him onto.
