Giants Fans Celebrate John Harbaugh, Dart, Skattebo with Fresh Memes amid HC Contract Rumors
New York Giants fans had reason to celebrate on Wednesday night with the news that John Harbaugh is moving closer to becoming the team's new head coach.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Giants are working to finalize an agreement with Harbaugh that will make him the person to lead a roster nucleus led by Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo and Malik Nabers.
Given the dire results on the field for the organization over the past three seasons and for most of the previous decade, Giants fans understandably had a very positive reaction to the news that Harbaugh could be entering the fray.

Harbaugh is among the most accomplished head coaches in the NFL today. He went 180-113 in 18 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. His tenure included 12 playoff appearances, six division titles and one Super Bowl victory.
By comparison, during the same 18 seasons that Harbaugh was in Baltimore, the Giants had seven different head coaches including interims. They made the playoffs four times, winning a Super Bowl during the 2011 season, and won the NFC East twice.
If you take out the Tom Coughlin years from that stretch, the Giants have one playoff win in two appearances and no division titles in the last 10 seasons. They have the second-worst record in the NFL since 2016.
Harbaugh had some playoff disappointments in the latter years of his stint with the Ravens, but Giants fans would be thrilled if they get the chance in the near-future to be mad about losing in the conference title game and divisional round in back-to-back years.
There aren't many teams coming off a 4-13 record that can boast the amount of talent at key positions the Giants have. If they have better injury luck and Harbaugh, along with the staff he brings in, can coach them up, it wouldn't be a surprise to see them make a quick turnaround.
