Robert Saleh Rumors on Ravens, Titans, Cardinals HC Jobs Amid 49ers' NFL Playoff Run
As Robert Saleh looks to guide the San Francisco 49ers on a deep playoff run, the defensive coordinator reportedly is drawing some interest from other squads.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Saleh plans to interview with the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans. Rapoport noted that "there are others" interested, but the Ravens and Titans are the only two squads to have secured interviews already.
Saleh is also scheduled to interview with the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Saleh is an NFL coaching veteran at this point, having been a coach in the league since 2005. He landed his first defensive coordinator job with the Niners in 2017 and helped lead the team to a Super Bowl appearance in 2019.
After his success in San Francisco, he was named the New York Jets head coach ahead of the 2021 campaign. Unfortunately for both Saleh and the Jets, he wasn't the coach who could fix the franchise. He went 7-10 in the 2022 and 2023 seasons and was fired in 2024 after a 2-3 start.
After being fired by New York, Saleh spent the remainder of the 2024 campaign with the Green Bay Packers as an offensive consultant and returned to San Francisco for the 2025 season.
The 49ers have been decent on the defensive side this year, allowing 21.8 points per game, though they've also had to manage a plethora of injuries, including a season-ending injury to star linebacker Fred Warner.
The Ravens fired head coach John Harbaugh, who had been at the helm for 18 seasons, last week. Baltimore is coming off an 8-9 season that saw it miss the postseason for the first time since 2020.
The Titans have gone 3-14 in each of the last two seasons and haven't made the playoffs since 2021. Whoever Tennessee hires next will be its fourth head coach in as many seasons.
