
Allen Hurns Injury: Updates on Jaguars Star's Hip Injury and Return
According to the team, Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns is active for the season opener after dealing with hip tightness that kept him out of Jacksonville's final two preseason games.
While expectations were fairly high for fellow rookies Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee last season, it was Hurns who led Jacksonville in receiving with 51 catches for 677 yards and six touchdowns. He developed chemistry with quarterback Blake Bortles, and they looked to carry that rapport into 2015.
Per Bleacher Report SXM, the 6'3" receiver was thrilled about the possibility of reaching the next level because of Bortles' continued development:

He also believed the implementation of new offensive coordinator Greg Olson's freewheeling offense would help the team as a whole, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.
"I'm feeling really confident out there making plays," Hurns said. "I just feel really good in this system. [Olson] has done a great job of opening things up to [let] us run different routes. It's a fun offense to play in."
The Jaguars are a team that relies on young playmakers, and Hurns is among their best options in that regard.
