Kenyon Sadiq Reportedly Declares for 2026 NFL Draft, Where Does Oregon TE Rank on Big Board?

Timothy RappJan 13, 2026

Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq is reportedly declaring for the 2026 NFL draft, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.

He ranked No. 15 overall on the B/R NFL Draft Scouting Department's December big board and is considered the top tight end available. He's also considered the most versatile tight end in his draft class and the best blocker of the bunch.

Sadiq had an excellent junior year for the Ducks, setting career highs in receptions (51), receiving yards (560) and touchdowns (eight).

Heading into the 2025 season, The Athletic's Bruce Feldman ranked him No. 11 on his annual list of "college football freaks," calling him a "matchup nightmare for defenses" who put up some impressive testing numbers—he "vertical jumped 41.5 inches this summer, power cleaned 365 pounds and bench pressed 435."

B/R's Daniel Harms, meanwhile, described him as "one of the most physical and impactful blockers in the entire class. Add in his explosive ability down the field and after the catch to maximize any passing attack, and he's the TE1 in this class."

Two teams in the top-10 could potentially make sense if they fall in love with his tape and measurables.

The first is the Washington Commanders picking at No. 7 overall. Zach Ertz suffered a torn ACL in December that could potentially be the final chapter of the 35-year-old's career, leaving Washington with a big need at the position. Getting Jayden Daniels another weapon couldn't hurt either.

And at No. 9, the Kansas City Chiefs may be in the market for a Travis Kelce replacement if he chooses to retire. Patrick Mahomes relied heavily on Kelce during their time together and identifying his replacement should be an offseason priority.

Other teams to keep an eye on include the Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles (if Dallas Goedert departs in free agency), among others.
