Delby Lemieux 2026 NFL Draft Scouting Report for Minnesota Vikings IOL

Brandon ThornJan 20, 2026

The Minnesota Vikings are reportedly signing Dartmouth IOL Delby Lemieux as undrafted rookie free agent, per the team's website.

Delby Lemieux presents solid quickness and upper-body strength that show up during backside cut-offs and creating surges on angle-drive blocks, but shaky contact balance and poor footwork in pass protection signal a dart throw as a projected undrafted free agent, with some potential to make an NFL roster as a center.

Lemieux is a 6'4", 295-pound center prospect who entered the Dartmouth program as an unranked recruit in the 2022 class.

The team captain started 27 career games at left tackle, with appearances at right tackle during his freshman campaign. He became an unanimous Ivy league All-American in 2025 and First-Team selection in 2024. Lemieux accepted an invite to the 2026 Senior Bowl.

Where He Wins

2 of 5
Delby Lemieux

— Solid initial quickness out of his stance leads to efficient tracks and timing in Dartmouth's zone-run scheme.

— Plays with tight hand-placement and delivers decent pop at the point of attack to uproot targets on angle-drive blocks.

— Team captain as a senior in both collegiate and high school levels.

Areas of Improvement

3 of 5

— Consistently leaves chest exposed in pass protection, which results in compression against power and an unreliable anchor.

— Regularly push-pulled into extension leading to shaky sustain skills.

— Steps in the bucket when rushers get on his edge, shortening the corner and resulting in quick, glaring losses.

— Will need to kick inside as part of his transition to the next level, though he made zero collegiate starts along the interior.
