Alec Pierce Gifted Audemars Piguet Watch by DeForest Buckner in Photo After 1,000-Yard Season

Indianapolis Colts veteran defensive tackle fulfilled a promise to rising star receiver Alec Pierce after his stellar 2025 season.

Pierce finished the year with career highs of 47 catches and 1,003 yards for his first 1,000-yard season in four years in the NFL. Buckner, who previously joked that he would get an Audemars Piguet for Pierce if he achieved the mark, announced on Instagram that the wideout has received his gift.

"An AP for AP," Buckner wrote in the caption.

Pierce has established himself as one of the best deep threats in the league, as his average of 21.3 yards per catch in 2025 was the best of any player who appeared in more than 10 games.

The Colts opted not to lock up Pierce with an in-season contract extension, so he will have the opportunity to test the open waters in free agency this offseason. It can be expected that he will be one of the most in-demand players on the market.

If his time in Indianapolis does come to an end, Pierce will have a keepsake to remind him of his time with the Colts, thanks to Buckner.
