Justin Herbert is the 'Best F--king QB in the League,' Chargers OL Says After Playoff Loss

Andrew PetersJan 12, 2026

Despite another wild-card exit for the Los Angeles Chargers this year, the team is confident in their QB1.

Offensive lineman Bradley Bozeman praised quarterback Justin Herbert on Monday when asked why he's confident Herbert will get a playoff win eventually.

"Because he's the best f--king quarterback in the league. Flat out," Bozeman said, per The Athletic's Daniel Popper. "That's all I got to say about that. The guy's special, and it sucks to not get him there because he's that kind of caliber."

Herbert has certainly been among the league's best for a few years now, even if 2025 wasn't his best campaign. The sixth-year player threw for 3,727 yards, 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions this season, adding 498 rushing yards and two scores on the ground.

One of Herbert's biggest issues isn't entirely his fault. He was the third-most sacked quarterback in the NFL this year, taking 54 sacks across 16 games. He took six sacks in Sunday's season-ending loss to the New England Patriots.

If the Chargers can get Herbert some help this offseason, perhaps he'll finally be able to get his first playoff win.
