NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for LSU WR Aaron Anderson
Aaron Anderson is a precise route-runner with a chain-moving skill set for NFL offenses.
He puts pressure on opposing cornerbacks with his patience, tempo and football IQ, allowing him to run crisp routes.
Anderson's college career began at Alabama. The 4-star recruit in the 2022 class then transferred to LSU in 2023 and spent three seasons with the Tigers.
After a strong showing in 2024, injuries, missed time and a discombobulated offensive system decreased his production in 2025.

Where He Wins
2 of 5
- Crafty route-runner who defeats man coverage with his quickness. Runs detailed routes with little wasted motion and sharp plants at the apex of his route stem.
- Deploys varying releases to enter his route against different alignments. Able to counter press coverage with good use of hands and intentional footwork.
- Excels at attacking zone coverages. Finds open grass and settles into the voids.
- Does not provide indicators of when he'll snap or sink at the break point.
- Elusive in the open field and in a phone booth to help generate yards after the catch. Effective on short and intermediate routes, along with manufactured touches like screens.
Areas of Improvement
3 of 5
- Will not meet the required size measurements for all 32 teams.
- Limited wingspan and catch radius. Will not win contested or high-point passes.
- Struggles to detach from physical, handsy press coverage cornerbacks.
