NFL Playoff Bracket 2026 Updated Picture, Schedule After Saturday's Wild Card

Even after Saturday's round of NFC Wild Card games, there are still plenty of unknowns in the NFL playoff bracket.

The San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles will meet Sunday, trying to join the Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the NFC playoffs.

If San Francisco wins, the NFC Divisional Round would feature Seahawks vs. 49ers and Bears vs. Rams. As the No. 6 seed, the 49ers would be the lowest remaining seed and would face the top-seeded Seahawks.

If Philadelphia advances, the Divisional Round matchups would be Seahawks vs. Rams and Bears vs. Eagles, with the No. 5 Rams becoming the lowest remaining seed.

With a 34-31 victory over Bryce Young and the Panthers on Saturday, Matthew Stafford and the Rams kept their postseason hopes alive.

The No. 5 Rams held off the No. 4 Panthers after a wild fourth quarter in the opening game of the NFC Wild Card playoffs.

A blocked punt set Carolina up for a short-field touchdown to take a 31-27 lead, but Los Angeles responded with a seven-play drive capped by a go-ahead touchdown. The Rams' defense sealed the win by forcing Young into four straight incompletions on the Panthers' final possession.

Stafford threw for 304 yards, three touchdowns and one interception while completing 24-of-42 passes. He connected with Puka Nacua for a score, and Nacua added a rushing touchdown. Colby Parkinson and Kyren Williams also caught touchdown passes.

Chicago Bears def. Green Bay Packers

Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears rallied past Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers 31-27 to advance in the NFC playoffs on Saturday.

Chicago erupted for 25 points in the fourth quarter after being held to just nine through three periods, punctuated by a go-ahead touchdown with 1:43 remaining to secure the home victory and keep its postseason run alive.

Williams threw for 361 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 24-of-48 passes. He connected with DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus for scores, while D'Andre Swift added a rushing touchdown.
