US Figure Skating Championships 2026 Final Results, Highlights and Reaction

Ilia Malinin and the pair of Madison Chock and Evan Bates continued their long-term reigns at the top of U.S. figure skating on Saturday night.

Malinin took home his fourth men's singles title by an overwhelming margin. He is one of the United States' top individual gold medal hopefuls in Milan.

Chock and Bates won their seventh domestic gold in the ice dance. They are expected to be in medal contention as well in February.

Saturday's winners are locks to make the Olympic squad. The full Team USA figure skating roster will be unveiled on Sunday.

Ilia Malinin won his fourth U.S. title with a runaway performance over two skates.

Malinin, the best American gold medal hopeful in Milan, won the men's competition by 57 points.

Malinin is aiming to become the second straight American man to win Olympic gold. Nathan Chen took home the gold for Team USA in Beijing.

If Malinin wins in Milan, he would be the third American in the last five Winter Olympics to win the men's singles event.

Madison Chock and Evan Bates captured their seventh straight U.S. ice dance title on Saturday night.

The longtime pair blew away the competition once again, as they won the event by 15 points.

Chock and Bates will be after their first Olympic medals in the ice dance discipline. They won gold in the team event in Beijing in 2022.

An American team has been on the ice dance medal stand at each of the last five Olympics. Chock and Bates are aiming to become the first American gold medalists in the ice dance since Meryl Davis and Charlie White in 2014.
