John Harbaugh Reportedly Watching Film on 2 QBs amid NFL Landing Spot Rumors
As he prepares to make his next move as an NFL head coach, John Harbaugh has reportedly begun watching film of two young quarterbacks from teams with potential interest in hiring him.
Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported Saturday that Harbaugh will spend "the next few days" watching film on New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart and Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward.

Russini and Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic added that Harbaugh plans to begin the interview process next week, and he has put himself in position to "pretty much decide" where he wants to go.
The Giants, Titans, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and Cleveland Browns were named as potential landing spots, with Russini and Zrebiec identifying the Giants as the "perceived" favorites to hire Harbaugh.
Harbaugh spent the past 18 seasons as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, and few coaches enjoyed more success during that stretch than him.
He posted a 180-113 record, led the Ravens to the playoffs on 12 occasions and won the Super Bowl in 2012.
His Ravens tenure ended in heartbreak when rookie kicker Tyler Loop missed a 44-yard field goal in the final regular-season game of the 2025 campaign against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Had Loop made it, the Ravens would have won the AFC North and made their fourth straight playoff appearance.
Instead, Harbaugh is now considering his next move, and both the Giants and Titans present potentially attractive opportunities.
They each selected quarterbacks in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft with the Titans taking Ward first overall and the Giants taking Dart 25th.
Dart had the more successful rookie year, completing 63.7 percent of his passes for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions, while also rushing for 487 yards and nine scores.
By comparison, Ward completed 59.8 percent of his passing attempts for 3,169 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven picks, and he rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns.
It is easy to see why Harbaugh would have interest in coaching either Dart or Ward, but the Giants feel like the more complete and ready-to-contend team than the Titans due to the other talent they possess, including wide receiver Malik Nabers, running back Cam Skattebo, pass-rushers Brian Burns and Abdul Carter, and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence.
