Aaron Rodgers 'Always Scary' in Playoffs, Says NFL Exec, QB Has 'the Look in His Eyes'
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is viewed as an imposing figure within the NFL as he heads into the playoffs.
"(Rodgers) in the playoffs is always scary, and it started (against Baltimore) — just the look in his eyes," an NFL executive told Jeff Howe of The Athletic.
The four-time MVP is set to make his first postseason appearance since the 2021 season after the Steelers locked up the No. 1 spot in the AFC North with a 10-7 record.

"It's a clean slate now," Rodgers told reporters Thursday, via ESPN's Brooke Pryor. "Anybody can make a run. It's the hottest team. We've won four out of five. We're playing a lot better football than we were earlier in the season. I like our chances."
While Pittsburgh sat at just 6-6 through Week 13, head coach Mike Tomlin's team went 4-1 over its final five games of the regular season. This included a 26-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens to clinch a playoff spot in Week 18, emerging victorious after Ravens kicker Tyler Loop missed a game-winning field goal.
Rodgers has looked sharp during his first year with the organization, completing 65.7 percent of his throws for 3,322 yards and 24 touchdowns compared to seven interceptions.
The 42-year-old is familiar with playoff success, winning a Super Bowl title with the Green Bay Packers during his 2010 campaign.
In 21 career postseason starts, Rodgers has thrown for 5,894 yards and 45 touchdowns to go along with a mere 13 interceptions. He's completed 64.7 percent of his passes while averaging 7.6 yards per attempt.
The Steelers are set to face the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round on Monday night. Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. ET.
