UFC Champ Alex Pereira, Girlfriend Tracy Cortez Announce Breakup 1 Week After Going Public

Just one week after publicly announcing their relationship, UFC fighters Alex Pereira and Tracy Cortez have split up.

Pereira confirmed the breakup on Instagram by writing they "decided it would be better for the both of us to go our separate ways."

Per TMZ Sports, Pereira and Cortez went public with their relationship on New Year's Eve when they posted images of themselves on social media together to ring in 2026.

Pereira is the current UFC light-heavyweight champion, winning the title for a second time by defeating Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320 on Oct. 4. Cortez is 12-3 in her professional MMA career, but has lost two of her last three bouts.
