Blue Jays' Marcus Stroman Tweets from Class in Excitement over David Price Deal
Just like any other college student, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman had a hard time focusing when big news broke while he was sitting in class.
Hopefully, the professor understood that Stroman's life just got a little bit more exciting.
On Thursday afternoon, Toronto announced that it acquired five-time All-Star David Price from the Detroit Tigers. Of course, this comes just a couple of days after the Blue Jays dealt for All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki in a trade with the Colorado Rockies.

Toronto is currently on the outside of the playoff picture, but as a result of the trades, it significantly upgraded its postseason chances. If the Jays can get to the playoffs, they will be very dangerous.
Stroman is currently sidelined with a torn ACL and is making good use of his time on the disabled list. Along with rehabbing, the 24-year-old pitcher is back at school at Duke University working on his degree, per MLB.com's Gregor Chisholm.
Stroman was on his way to class on Thursday when trade rumors involving his team started swirling:
The Blue Jay was having a hard time controlling his excitement as talks progressed:
Stroman was at least considerate enough to apologize to his professor:

Had any other Blue Jays fans been in class at that time, they would have been acting the same way. Because that's what a fan does.
