John Harbaugh Emerging as Giants Favorite

John Harbaugh patrolled the sidelines for the Baltimore Ravens for 18 seasons but, after the decision was made to mutually part ways following Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Super Bowl-winning head coach is emerging as the favorite to fill the New York Giants' vacancy.
The Giants fired Brian Daboll on November 10 after a 2-8. Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka served as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season, leading the team to a 2-5 finish.
Harbaugh would inherent a team with more than a few potential superstars, with Malik Nabers already proving his game-changing ability at wide receiver and first-year players Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart shining at different points in the 2025 season.
The Giants finished the season strong, beating the Dallas Cowboys, 34-17, and have plenty of potential for the veteran coach to build on, should he be offered, and accept, the position.
Harbaugh will not interview for any open positions until next week, but is expected to be among the hottest head coaching candidates available. Schefter previously reported that, according to Harbaugh's agent, the 63-year-old has received calls from seven teams.
There were only six openings before the Miami Dolphins fired head coach Mike McDaniel on Thursday.
Harbaugh went 180-113 with Baltimore in his nearly two decades with the team.
Ravens Interviewing Broncos Coordinators

Baltimore will look to fill a coaching vacancy for the first time since 2008 and one intriguing candidate is Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph.
Schefter reported that Joseph interviewed with the team Thursday morning.
The Ravens will interview Broncos quarterbacks coach Davis Webb Thursday afternoon.
Joseph has head coaching experience. He was hired by the Broncos in 2017, but was fired after just two seasons following an 11-21 record.
Webb is a former NFL quarterback, having played one season for the New York Giants and finishing his career with 168 yards and a touchdown.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported that the team also requested to interview Klint Kubiak, the Seattle Seahawks' offensive coordinator.
The Ravens have a quarterback in Lamar Jackson who, if healthy, will have them in every game, with a legitimate chance to win it. The defense took a stunning step backward in 2025, though, and consistency was often an issue with this latest incarnation of the team.
Whoever takes over will have the benefit of a two-time MVP quarterback and a team that is just a year removed from a 12-5 season and AFC North title.
Titans Interviews Update

The Tennessee Titans have a young team, headed by first overall draft pick Cam Ward, and their next head coach will be tasked with helped develop and evolve his game into that of a franchise quarterback, making the hiring that much more important.
Schefter reported that the team will interview former Dallas Cowboys head coach and NBC analyst Jason Garrett for their opening.
Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com reported that the team is among several who have requested to interview San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh.
The Titans finished 3-14, among the worst records in the AFC.
Whoever takes over the immediate future of the team will have their hands full, with several needs at key positions. Ward, though, showed flashes of being the franchise-changing signal-caller and several of his most electrifying plays gave fans enough reason to be optimistic about the long-term health of the team, despite its poor showings over the last two seasons.
