Giants Rumors on 'All-In' John Harbaugh Pursuit After HC's Ravens Firing
After surprisingly getting fired by the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, John Harbaugh is reportedly already atop the New York Giants' head coaching wish list.
According to SNY's Connor Hughes, the Giants are "all-in" on Harbaugh in their head coaching search.
Hughes added that "just about every team" with a head coaching vacancy has interest in Harbaugh, including the Atlanta Falcons, who have become "increasingly interested" as well.

Harbaugh was one of the longest-tenured head coaches in NFL history, spending 18 seasons with the Ravens.
He was largely successful during his tenure, going 180-113 with 12 playoff appearances, six AFC North titles and a Super Bowl win in 2012.
However, with a heartbreaking, 26-24 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the final game of the 2025 regular season, the Ravens finished 8-9 and missed out on the playoffs for only the second time in the past eight seasons.
Now, Harbaugh is available on the coaching market for the first time since the Ravens hired him in 2008, and it comes as little surprise that there is reportedly a ton of interest in him, given his track record.
Aside from the Ravens, a strong argument can be made that the Giants present a more attractive situation than any other franchise with an opening at head coach.
While the Giants went 4-13 this season and have posted three consecutive losing seasons, they can offer prospective coaches a roster that is flush with young, promising talent.
On the offensive side of the ball, the Giants boast quarterback Jaxson Dart, running back Cam Skattebo, wide receivers Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson, and tight end Theo Johnson, all of whom are 25 years of age or younger.
On defense, the Giants are led by pass-rusher Abdul Carter, who was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, as well as veterans and multi-time Pro Bowlers in pass-rusher Brian Burns and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence.
If the potential Dart displayed this season as a rookie translates into him being a quality NFL quarterback, then the Giants essentially have all the pieces they need for sustained, long-term success.
The same can't necessarily be said for other teams with head coaching vacancies, such as the Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals.
Harbaugh may very well have his pick of the litter, and if that is the case, it is easy to envision him choosing the Giants as the best possible landing spot.
